Who is Jordan?
​
Hey! I'm a 23 year old singer-songwriter/musician from Sheffield in the UK. I'm a drummer, guitarist, bassist and singer and I record my own music in my studio.. (bedroom!)
What is Jordan's dream?
My dream is simply to make a lasting mark on the music scene like many of my idols.
Who is Jordan influenced by?
My biggest inspiration growing up were the 70's band 'T.Rex' who I was introduced to at a very young age by my Dad. Their frontman Marc Bolan is my musical hero.
I'm also a big fan of Bowie. The way he constantly changed throughout his career, breaking boundaries and proving that you don't have to stay in one lane to be a successful artist. That's something I've always dreamt of being able to do.
As a songwriter I've always been massively inspired by Tom Fletcher from 'McFly'. I admire his ability to write fun, catchy music that people of all ages and musical tastes can appreciate.
Apart from music, what else does Jordan love?
Pokemon. Mickey Mouse, well, Disney in general. Family holidays to Florida. Football, I'm a big Sheffield Wednesday fan! My chihuahua. My 2 cats. Star Wars. Mini Coopers.. old ones! Basically anything that I should have 'grown out of', I haven't!
What is 'JR'?
'JR' was my first album. It was my life for 2 years. It was the reason I turned my bedroom into a recording studio. In 2014 I wrote and recorded the song 'Class A'. I filmed a little music video for it and put it on Youtube. That was the first time I'd released any solo music and I haven't turned back since. If I learnt anything whilst making that album it was that recording music in your bedroom, by yourself, with a temperamental laptop and a DIY vocal booth/wardrobe can be pretty stressful. Stressful but so much fun!
What is 'JR2'?

'JR2' is my second album. It's a follow up to my first album, hence the name, because when I released 'JR' I'd already starting writing more music. All the songs on the album have been played by BBC Introducing and I performed 'Mexico' and 'Souvenir' on The X Factor 2017!
